what you’ll do

Plan and develop prototypes, tools, platforms, games, apps and so much more

Evaluate the use of new frameworks, libraries and tools based on your experience, thus optimizing existing solutions and processes

Support the team by contributing your own ideas and experiences

Help stay up to date by keeping an eye out for new technologies and by testing their usability

 

key responsibilities

Becoming the go-to technological expert in projects to which you are assigned

Upgrade the quality of all code in your products

The accuracy and completeness of your architecture artifacts

basic requirements

A degree in computer science or equivalent

4+ years development experience in Web development: Node.js, Express

Knowledge of modern software crafting methods (e.g. clean code, TDD, architectural
principles)

Experience in designing and developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs

Good knowledge of working with document-based NoSQL databases like MongoDB

You know and use GIT and CI Pipelines

Experience or a strong interest in cloud and infrastructure topics (cloud services with
AWS, Kubernetes or Docker)

Good English language skills, both written and spoken

Must be based in Germany

A strong “you build it, you run it” attitude

nice-to-have requirements

Experience in Web development: React JS, React Native, Vue JS

Good knowledge of relational SQL (e.g. MySQL/MariaDB and PostgreSQL)

Hands-on platform development experience

Machine Learning knowledge

Experience with large-scale streaming solutions

WordPress, PHP

Good German language skills, both written and spoken
